Unsure where to start?

These are the 10 milestones of a well managed EVC project and how we assist with each

01

Outline your need and ideal outcomes

Successful projects have a clear objective. Plans can be adapted, but a vision of your requirements is key.

02

Establish your budget and timescale

Generally helpful to have this in mind before engaging external sources. Consideration needs to be given to aftercare and maintenance costs at this stage, not just initial install. This is also the time to be considering any future-proofing needed.

03

Desired infrastructure & location

Note any preferences around install positioning, speed of charge, brand, back-office functionality, aesthetics etc...

04

Confirm if project managed in-house or externally

Determine if you have capable resource and time available to manage the project in-house or if best left to an external expert.

05

Confirmation of scope

Project outline to this point must now be reviewed against the expertise of the delivering party and an agreed scope to progress with produced.

06

On-site review & FRA

Scope now needs to be assessed against on-site practicality. It is vital to assess the viability of the project from an electrical perspective and cost to deliver in the chosen location. A fire risk assessment (FRA) should be completed to ensure location meets safety expectations.

07

Actionable design

Aligning the on-site findings with electrical design plans to produce an actionable document for others to follow.

08

Install quotes

Receive quotes against the actionable design produced. Important to review competencies and prior client feedback.

09

Install performed

Delivery of project completed in line with plans. It is important to receive commissioning information alongside O&M documentation for future reference. Note any snagging or defect period. This phase may be preceeded by a power supply upgrade.

10

Enter maintenance regime

Once chargers are live they move into their aftercare phase where an agreed proactive and reactive maintenance regime will support them into the future.
