Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Chris founded Safer Charging with a clear mission: to create an independent, trustworthy partner for EV charging maintenance and aftercare. With extensive experience in the EV charging industry, he recognised that too many charge point owners were left without reliable support once installation was complete.

His vision for the company centres on independence. By remaining hardware and software agnostic, Safer Charging can serve every client without the conflicts of interest that come with manufacturer tied service providers. Under Chris's leadership, the company has secured SafeContractor certification, SSIP accreditation, and a place as finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in both 2025 and 2026. Chris is Carbon Literacy certified, as is every member of the Safer Charging team.

He brings over a decade of customer and service experience, moved into EV charging at Pod Point in 2020, and is Carbon Literacy certified. His focus is durable systems that let the team grow without ever dropping the standard.
